Mere words aren't enough to describe the Resto Bistro Rumeur situated in the Hotel du Voyageur in Gatineau. The word "contemporary" lacks force and "modern" doesn't say enough. "Hot" is short of the mark. Let's just say that this spot is a distinctive combination of elegance, simplicity and spice that is all the rage with those who trip on gastronomy and an elegant refined local atmosphere. The theme adopted relates to the name RUMEUR and the décor was designed along those lines.

The cuisine consists of tasty original dishes which are entirely of our own preparation. Our menu offers such choices as tapas, salads, roasts and desserts to satisfy all tastes and budgets. Thanks to the enthusiasm of chef Jean-Philippe Ménard, we consider this cuisine to be contemporary, electric and in tune with today's tastes.
